Want to meet awesome people, make core memories, and get outside—all before lunch? Then this is your sign to come hiking with us. Join Ample Access Outdoors on Saturday, March 16, 2025, for a fun, beginner-friendly guided hike at Marjory Swope Park! We’ll explore the 1.4-mile Blue Trail, where you’ll soak up scenic views, get fresh air, and make new hiking besties who will 100% hype you up when it’s time for a photo break.

Time: 8:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.
Location: Marjory Swope Park, Long Pond Road, Concord, NH 03301.
Meeting Spot: We will meet at the trailhead, which is located beside the main parking lot. If you have difficulty finding the group, please call or text Brittany at 781-204-0408.
Cost: $30 (Sliding scale available)
Why does this hike cost money? Your $30 registration fee helps fund our free accessibility programs that support hikers with a variety of access needs. We are committed to expanding outdoor access through programming that provides essential support, adaptive equipment, and financial assistance for those who need it.
Trail Information:
Trail Distance: 1.5 miles (loop)
Elevation: 239 ft.
Trail Surface: Natural dirt trails with uneven terrain, roots, and rocks
Restrooms: There are no restrooms available at the park - please plan accordingly
Accessibility Considerations:
Pacing: We will move at a steady and supportive pace. We take the pace of the slowest person - no one is ever left behind.
Rest Stops: We will take breaks to rest, hydrate, and enjoy the scenery.
Seating: No benches are available on this trail - rest breaks will be standing or on natural surfaces.
Noise Levels: The trail is mostly quiet, though other visitors and leashed dogs may be present.
Trail Users: This is a multi-use trail, so expect to see other hikers and possibly cyclists.
COVID-19 Safety: Face coverings are optional for all visitors and staff, consistent with city and state guidelines. Disposable masks and hand sanitizer are available for free.

What to Bring:
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, please bring:
- Sturdy footwear (hiking boots or trail runners)
- A comfortable backpack
- Snacks
- At least 2 liters of water
- Layered clothing to adjust for weather changes
- Trekking poles (optional but highly recommended for balance and support)
Weather Policy
This event will take place rain or shine. However, if there is dangerous weather (such as thunderstorms, extreme winds, or unsafe trail conditions), we will reschedule or cancel the hike. We will notify participants via e-mail of any weather-related changes at least 24 hours before the scheduled hike.
