This Veterans Day Weekend, we’re honoring rest, resilience, and reconnection with a special Hike & Chill at one of NC’s most scenic gems—Hanging Rock State Park!
Whether you're a veteran, family member, or supporter—everyone is invited to join us for a day of movement, mindfulness, and meaningful community.

1790 Hanging Rock Park Rd, Danbury, NC 27016
🅿️ Parking: Free parking available in the Visitor Center lot. Look for the LGSR signs when you arrive!
Event Details
🕤 Time:
• 9:30 AM – Arrive & Network
• 9:45 AM – Group Stretch
• 10:00 AM – Hike Starts
🌄 Trail Info:
• Terrain: A mix of rocky footpaths, packed dirt, and wooden steps
• Trail includes several beautiful waterfall views, shady forest paths, and scenic overlooks
• Expect natural rock stairs, creek crossings, and a few uphill sections—but we’ll take our time and rest as needed
• Difficulty: Moderate
• Length: Approx. 2.6–3 miles round trip
