It’s almost the time of year for us to have our amazing event at the Startdust Drive-In! This show was started to honour a beautiful soul Howie Meyer and then sadly after his passing his son Lorne had been given terrible news that he had cancer too, sadly Lorne ended up passing earlier this year at a very young age leaving behind his beautiful wife Rachel and his two beautiful girls Riley and Sadie. We hope to keep his show a yearly event for years to come in their honour to help raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society in hopes for more research and possibly one day a cure for this terrible disease, Cancer…. It has affected more people’s lives than we can ever imagine, so let’s all band together for an amazing event in loving memory of two amazing men we adored and carry on in their honour!! To enter the event it’s a suggested minimum donation of $10 per ride… We will have music, loads of prizes, awards along with our cut-a-thon doing $15 haircuts with proceeds going to Wigs for Kids Canada and we will also be watching Gone in 60 Seconds after the awards ceremony is complete. Come on out for a great evening with awesome rides and their owners and so many more!! We are always welcoming to any year, any make and all models of vehicles!
