Join us for Highs and Lows, a free classical music program that spotlights the double bass and features four celebrated Columbus Symphony musicians.

PROGRAM
“Highs and Lows” brings together Gioachino Rossini (1792-1868) and Anton Arensky (1861-1906), two iconic composers from the late Classical and Romantic eras.
String Sonata No. 3 in C major (Rossini)
Duet for Cello and Double Bass (Rossini)
String Quartet No. 2 in A minor, Op. 35 (Arensky)
DETAILS
Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and free parking is provided. The program is recommended for ages 9 and older. All Sunday at Central concerts are recorded and later shared on the organization’s YouTube channel.
Founded in 1994, Sunday at Central is a nonprofit chamber music series dedicated to presenting intimate performances by internationally recognized professional musicians. The series is supported in part by the Margaret and Ray Speer Fund of The Columbus Foundation, the Johnstone Fund for New Music, The Loft Violin Shop, the Ingram-White Castle Foundation, the Greater Columbus Arts Council, and The Columbus Foundation’s Community Arts Fund, with additional support from the Ohio Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
