Hounds will be meeting at SNECK YATE CROSSROADS to hunt our human quarry around this stunning part of Boltby Forest. This is a fantastic meet, hunting through some beautiful forestry, snaking out way from bottom to top, to enjoy some spectacular views of the surrounding moorland. Hounds will hunt several lines throughout the forest, making the most of the forest tracks which provide dry going underfoot, always a welcome relief in the British wintertime! Forestry meets are ideal for all, and as we don’t hunt across any wide open spaces, tend to be inviting for those with novice or inexperienced horses too. Hearing hounds work in this setting is a truly unique experience, and one that we can’t wait to share with you.No arrivals before 11:30am, please be mounted to meet by midday, hounds will move off at 12:30. Dress code is full season – black or navy hunt coats for adults, U18s should wear tweed. Horses will need to be plaited or hogged.

PARKING
Hounds will meet at the carpark at the cross roads of Cleveland Road and Sneck Yate Bank – PLEASE DO NOT PARK ANY HORSE BOXES OR TRAILERS IN THE CAR PARK! Parking for the meet is on verges/laybys on Cleveland Road – there is plenty of space, we must respect other forestry users and MUST NOT use the car park for boxes.
