Dr. Hockaday will discuss the current status, transmission dynamics, and control measures related to Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza, a serious viral disease that affects both domestic and wild bird populations. We will review recent outbreaks, discuss implications for poultry production, public health risks, and provide updates on surveillance strategies and biosecurity protocols.
