The best time of year to experience Piesse Brook is right now and we welcome new hikers, aspiring adventurers and winter wanderers to join us on this 3km beginner friendly winter guided hike along the Piesse Brook interpretive trail to the beautiful Rocky Pool in Kalamunda National Park.You will discover a diversity of wildflowers, birdlife and even shy bush creatures, exploring the interesting geology of the area and uncovering the stories of the 'hey-days' of Rocky Pool. Our journey takes us along the Piesse Brook to enjoy the iconic Rocky Pool while the water is flowing. Enjoy a moment to be mindful and calm amongst the magic of the water crashing and flowing off the rocks before retracing our steps. The tracks on this hike are wide and easy to navigate, so this makes a perfect first timer hike, or an outing for the entire family.
