May's First Friday Art Walk is blooming with artists and activity! From celebrations and jam sessions to pop-ups and bilingual tours, there's no better place to spend first Friday than Highlandtown!
CELEBRATE | Locality's First Birthday AND Frida Fest at Casa de La Cultura!
EXHIBITS | Catch new exhibits at Highlandtown Gallery, Crystal Moll Gallery, Creative Alliance, and Casa de la Cultura plus continuing shows at 3402 Art, Ovenbird, Snake Hill, and Zwiebach Creations.
POP-UPS | Visit painters, makers, artisans and more popping up at RoofTop Hot, Sally O's, Highlandtown Gallery, and Locality. Plus Dreamers & Make-Believers Books will have a Mini Maker's Market!
MUSIC | Join the jam session at The Hub starting at 6:30pm, catch a DJ set at Filippo’s Pizzeria at 7pm, and celebrate with music and dance performances at Casa de la Cultura's Frida Fest!
FOOD & DRINKS | Try the tasting at Off the Rox (5:30pm) or grab drinks, snacks or dinner at Charmington Holistics, Rooftop Hot, Sally O’s, Snake Hill, Filippo’s and more!

As always, the Art Walk is FREE to attend, with drink and food specials at restaurants and bars like Snake Hill, Sally O’s, and IndoViet. The Art Walk is self-guided - check out the Art Walk Map for venue locations and details to plan your night!
Mask wearing preferences vary per venue, but we encourage keeping your distance to be safe and above all – have fun! If you're not feeling well, consider staying home and joining us next month!

GETTING HERE: Free street-parking is available throughout the neighborhood. Metered parking is available on Eastern Ave and Conkling Street (and is free after 6pm). City buses #21, #22, Navy, Blue bring you to the district.
