About this Event
Hosted by Cut Out Club, this project celebrates the art of zine-making using exclusively salvaged, recycled, and upcycled materials.
Participants will craft their zines using paper waste donated by local businesses, and are invited to bring their own repurposed materials to personalise their creations.
Whether you're a seasoned zine-maker or a curious beginner, you’ll discover how to turn discarded materials into unique expressions of art and storytelling, using anything from junk mail to old train tickets.
The dates for our Re:Zine series take place every Sunday throughout February. You can come to one or you can come to all! Explore your creativity, connect with like-minded crafters, and contribute to a greener planet – one zine at a time ✂️
Browse the bothy to gain inspiration from our collection of over 200 zines, then indulge in making your very own collage-filled mini-zine in response to your favourites! You will also have the opportunity to donate your zine to the collection if desired.
Open to all experience levels, and all materials are provided. Workshop are held every Sunday throughout February, and all are free to attend, but booking is required as spaces are limited to 18 people. Any donations are gratefully received and will go towards maintaining the Highland Zine Bothy.
