Join us for another exciting houseplant swap! Whether you're a seasoned green thumb or starting your plant journey, this event is perfect for connecting with fellow plant lovers, discovering new species, and expanding your indoor jungle. Mark your calendars and get ready for an afternoon of botanical bliss!Our aim is to promote sustainable houseplant cultivation and bring people together. The event relies on people getting involved, so all offerings are important, no matter how small.
Book on Eventbrite today. Register for free to book your place, we hope you will manage a small donation to help with costs but this is all about plants and people so we want everyone to come along. Places are limited due to venue capacity.

Event timings:
Arrive early for plant labelling: To ensure a smooth experience, we ask participants with plants to swap to arrive at 1.30/1.45. Please label your plants with a name if possible but if in doubt our friendly team will be on hand to help, we can check for pests and help identify any unknown species. Once your plant is labelled, you can relax and chat, check out whats on offer, or pop into the Spectrum Centre café until the event begins.
Plant swap commences: At precisely 14:00! Don’t worry if you haven’t been to a plant swap before, our team will explain how it works.
Important information:
Plants must be healthy: please ensure the plants and/or cuttings you bring are healthy and pest-free. Only bring offerings that you are happy to trade with others, for free.
Size, rarity, and commonality don't matter: The best plant swaps have a diverse range of offerings. Whether you have a small succulent cutting or a rare and exotic tropical, every contribution adds value. What may seem common to you could be a prized addition to someone else's collection.
Bring more than plants: You are also welcome to bring pots, plant-related books, or any other plant-related items that you think fellow plant lovers might enjoy.
Beginners are welcome: This is a community focused event, where everyone is welcome. If you’re new to the houseplant world, or even if you don’t have any plants to swap, we still encourage you to attend. We only ask that you bring a small extra donation to contribute to the cost of running the event, and we’ll ensure you leave with something green!
Please bring a box or strong bags to take away your swaps.
