About this Event
We're collabing with our pal, Shannon, butcher and owner of one of Boston's only snout-to-tail butcher shops, Highland Butcher Shop (formerly MF Dulock) for an October workshop series designed to empower and educate!
Intimidated by the meat counter? Stuck in a steak rut? Read about spatchcocking but don't know where to start (or what that even means)? Our girl Shannon's got you.
This class is designed to make women and queer folks more comfortable and confident with their prep, charcuterie, and cooking skills, but ALL members of our community who want to learn are welcome!
Get ready for the holidays with us and learn all there is to know about meats and entertaining! Come to one class or come to them all--each stands on its own.
Part 2: Entertaining and Final Touches - How to Trim, Tie, and Make the Most of Cuts for Company
Everyone wants to dazzle guests at dinner parties and the holidays! Let’s talk about how to tie different meats - chicken! roasts! Unique cuts you can use to feed a crowd (not your average options!) and all things final touches to make the most impact!
This is a hands-on class. For both sanitary and sustainability reasons, we will NOT be praciticing on raw meat. However, there will be raw meat present for demonstrations.
NOTE: THIS IS AN INTERACTIVE CLASS HOSTED AT DEAR ANNIE. A GLASS OF WINE IS INCLUDED WITH YOUR TICKET.
