Overview
This Highfield Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace has been developed to give learners a knowledge and understanding of health and safety. Aimed at those working as a supervisor, manager or team leader. it can also be used to train those who are preparing to start work at this level.
Course content
- Understand requirements for health, safety and welfare in the workplace.
- Understand the benefits of using a safety management system.
- Understand the principles of risk assessment.
- Understand how to identify and control the risks from common workplace hazards
- Understand how to manage the effects of accidents and incidents.
