About this Event
Want to feel more confident using your phone, tablet, or computer? Whether you're setting up a device, browsing the internet, or exploring online resources, Libraries Tasmania is here to help – for free!! Enjoy a wonderful afternoon tea and build your confidence using technology.
We’ll have three stations set up for you to drop by and learn about:
- Device Advice – Arm yourself with some questions and bring your phone or tablet along. We’ll answer your questions, provide some assistance and help build your confidence using your device
- Get Online with your Library – Did you know libraries have thousands of online books, magazines, newspapers, audio books and more that you can access for free? We’ll show you how to get the most from your library membership and build your confidence to access and use our online library
- Learn Something New – Like a lucky dip, we’ll use prompt cards to learn something new! From scam awareness to digital shopping lists, from translating languages to creating art online – we’ll have plenty of things for you to learn, so come and give it a try!
Come along, learn new skills and go into the draw to win an eReader!
