This class will start Tuesday afternoon. The High Tea Fusion Quilt is a beautiful fusion of quilting and crochet, two timeless crafts. This unique quilt combines pretty fabric squares with a lacy crochet stitch, resulting in a stunning vintage design. The quilt can be made in different sizes, from a baby blanket to a queen-sized bedspread, or used as a table topper for a tea party. This is a fun and rewarding project that can be treasured for years to come. To make a quilt approximately 44"X44" you will need 72-6" squares of fabric (36 for the front and 36 for the back), 36-6" squares of batting, size 1 (super fine) weight yarn (generally a white or off white but color will work also). Other supplies: sewing machine, thread, large eyed (yarn) sharp needle, a large eyed (yarn) dull point needle and a crochet hook size D/3. I will bring items needed to show you how to block (square up) your crocheted block. You will be able to make several of these blocks with my help and guidance with information to complete the quilt at home.
