Becoming Through Soul Song & Rising into What We Sing: A Community song Circle Honoring the First Harvest. August is the tipping point between high summer and the approach of autumn. There’s a quiet transition that is inviting us to integrate the lessons of the year so far as we prepare for the autumnal season. We are tending the space between what was and what is becoming, grounding in truth as we grow through change.
Please join us for an evening of vocal liberation, shared vibration, transformation, remembrance, and embodiment.
We’ll journey through soulful songs, deep listening, and gentle ritual, using the power of voice to cross the threshold from who we’ve been and honor what has matured within us. Come as you are and gather with us in song, to discover what’s ready to rise within you. Rising not alone, but in the arms of community!
Doors open at 5pm. Music will begin promptly at 5:15. Please arrive early to find your place in the circle and ground into the space. We invite you to enjoy a warm cup of tea as we settle in together. There are some loaner instruments available, however, you may bring some of your choosing!
Our sober, family friendly gatherings welcome all no matter their skill level. We aim for inspiration and reflection. Not perfection!
We invite you to prepare a personal share (poem, song or instrumental jam; Originals and covers are welcome, however please limit shares to 5 min.’s to allow time for others to partake.
A suggested donation of $10-$15 per person/family is greatly appreciated, but no one is turned away for lack of funds. Every donation goes toward paying for venue space, event materials and becoming a non-profit so we can bring the medicine of music to places where it is needed most.
There is free and ample parking, and a handicap accessible ramp, however- please let us know if you may need extra assistance.
Please RSVP so we can prepare accordingly. Your consideration is greatly appreciated!
Thank you for your interest and continued support. We look forward to raising our voices and sharing sacred space with one another!
