Registration is open for our 2024 High School Art Academy, happening on Saturday, November 16! High School Art Academy, now in its 23rd year, is an all-day, comprehensive workshop experience for TN High School Students. Co-organized by the UT School of Art and Knox County art educators, workshops are taught at the Art + Architecture Building on the UT campus by School of Art faculty, graduate students, and alumni.
2024 workshop offerings include:
• Drawing Fundamentals & Techniques • Pop-Up Bookmaking •Ceramics • Film & Darkroom Photography • Stop Motion Animation • Giant Puppet Construction • Needle Felting Sculpture • Printmaking: “The Foraged Matrix” • Printmaking “Trash to Treasure”• Printmaking: Drypoint & Trace Monotype.
Workshop space is limited. A limited number of registration fee waivers are available for students at Title I schools. Register and find more information at:
