Grace Galore is a Japanese-Canadian performer from Vancouver Island. Where romp and pomp collide, she is best known for her classic acts inspired by Old Hollywood glamour. Co-producer at Bad Company Burlesque, Grace has performed in shows all over BC, most notably as a life-sized Furby named Felicia (Don't ask).
Dae LeeGrind is a 51 year-old burlesque performer who embodies artistry, seduction, charisma, and emotion in her performances. Over the years she has developed a unique style that captivates audiences and leaves them wanting more. Dae's performances combine classic elements of burlesque with a razor sharp edge. Her charismatic stage presence draw the audience in, while her emotional performances leave a lasting impact. Driven by an artistic ethos of push the envelope and burn it all down, she is always looking to challenge her own persona. So it could be classic showgirl act or a gold lamé clad menace or an emotional veil piece. A glam punk , dive bar, arty-Bitch that is happily exploring all possibilities in this art form.
Meadow Phorical is a queer performer that may have grown up on an island, but now she’s East Van’s most cunning linguist. There's nothing this member of the Cliterati loves as much as finding a nice, thick hardcover and working through it dog-earred style. She had her solo debut with the Vancouver Burlesque Company in September 2021, but her love of character and storytelling has taken her from turning pages to turning heads, and she’s since performed with Fatale Productions, April O’Peel Productions, Geekenders, and more. With a Master’s Degree in Shaking What her Mama Gave Her, she’s a firm believer in the 3 Rs: Reading, Writing, and RAUNCH. On stage she’ll be dotting her Is, crossing her Ts, and uncrossing her legs. Starting her Burlesque journey with the Vancouver Burlesque Company in January 2023, Sheena has established herself as a dynamic force in the industry, leaving a trail of glitter and glamour wherever she goes. Sheena isn’t just a performer; she’s also the producer and host of monthly shows at Mum’s the Word. With her infectious energy, and effortless rapport, she creates an atmosphere of celebration and camaraderie, ensuring that every event is an unforgettable experience.
