The High Point Historical Society will host author, historian and instructor, Richard Eller to talk about his book on the history of Piedmont Airlines, a U.S. carrier service based out of Winston-Salem that operated from 1948 until it merged with USAir in 1989. Visitors will also have a chance to try the airline’s famous Piedmont Punch. This event is FREE and open to the public.This program will be at the High Point Public Library at 901 N Main St.
