Enjoy a peaceful morning hike at High Park with us! If you haven’t checked out the cherry blossoms yet, there is still time. But High Park is more than just cherry blossoms. Did you know that there is a very rare habitat called black oak savannah within High Park? Many trees are over 150 years old, the City of Toronto prescribes Indigenous controlled burning to maintain the ecosystem.
Throughout the hike, we will learn about the history and nature of High Park, potentially see wildlife like beavers and spring ephemerals like white trilliums, and learn to identify invasive species in the park.

Let's Hike T.O. is a hiking community open to everyone with a focus on newcomers, people of colour, and young adults aged 20-40. All are welcome on our walks.
