About this Event
Come join us to dance on the High Line! Afro-Brazilian dance is a unique and fun combination of Samba reggae from Bahia, Rio de Janeiro, and West African and Latino beats. All levels are welcome, this event is free and open to the public.
About the instructor:
Maria Assis Silva is a dance and fitness instructor. She has been teaching for 18 years. It is her passion to inspire and motivate others to have fun and feel good.
Advance registration is encouraged. Walk-ups are welcome.
NOTE: Reminder that instruction is in English only but speakers of all languages can still participate and enjoy this class due to the movement-based nature of the program. Interpretation is not available for this program.
