About this Event

Water is the lifeblood of Los Angeles and though lately it seems as if we've had too much water in the Valley, usually, it's the opposite. Where did it come from? How was it captured to make our desert into the oasis many of us grew up with? How do we make the best use of what we have and will we run out?

The story of water in our city is a fascinating one and on Monday, May 20th, at 6:15 p.m. join us on Zoom for the story of this precious resource. Our guest speakers, Ben Wong and Kharla Pimentel, work in the Strategic Planning Group of LADWP Water Resources and they will have lots of information about the history of our water. Please join us for what should be a fascinating evening.
