If you've lived here for any length of time, you've seen buildings go up and be torn down. But some buildings are too amazing to be turned into rubble and the Art Deco ones that grace the streets of L.A. deserve our attention. Art Deco can be recognized by clean, geometric lines and zigzag patterns. The style had its roots in the 1920s and 30s.The Los Angeles Conservancy will be showing us some of the amazing buildings that, happily for us, still exist in the city.
