Enjoy a unique opportunity to visit our 17th century hidden well, undiscovered until 2011.We would love to welcome you to the museum where you can discover what life was like in the 1840s when the cottages were inhabited by families of handloom weavers. Volunteers, in contemporary costume, demonstrate various crafts including spinning, weaving and clogging, and will explain to you what life was like in the cottages.
We have 2 exhibitions on - ‘Colourful Contours’ is an art exhibition by Ashley Cundall in the exhibition room.
‘100 years of Golcar Guides’ is being exhibited in our upstairs Gallery.
