Car Boot Sale are a London-based five-piece led by the visionary Jacques Fugee, encapsulating the excitement, charisma and swagger of rock ‘n’ roll at its swinging peak. Drawing inspiration from an eclectic mix of influences, from blues masters to hip-hop legends to psych bands, their intoxicating shows are a captivating combo of raw passion, soulful groove and hypnotic songwriting. Since their formation in 2022, they’ve been tipped by Steve Lamacq on BBC Radio 6 Music and Jess Iszatt on BBC Music Introducing, highlighted by So Young Magazine and Fred Perry Subculture and graced the cover of Spotify’s Hot New Bands playlist. And in 2023, they released their debut EP which was produced by Hugo Nicholson (Primal Scream, Beck, Radiohead). On the road, they’ve sold out Colours Hoxton and The Lexington, toured the UK with The Goa Express and supported the likes of Fat Dog, Master Peace, October and The Eyes, Peaness, Peter Xan and Nuha Ruby Ra, as well as appeared at festivals like Truck, Sŵn and Left of the Dial Rotterdam.

FEZ
East London-based outfit FEZ craft a unique blend of neo-psychedelia and progressive rock. Embracing nostalgia for a bygone era of music and reinterpreting it through a modern lens, the five-piece place equal emphasis on songwriting, sonics and improvisation. Since they formed in 2019, FEZ have played shows with the likes of Projector, Japanese Television, Karma Sheen, Hutch, ELLiS•D, Flip Top Head and Yumi And The Weather, and have been championed by Tom Robinson on BBC Radio 6 Music, as well as BBC Music Introducing and Clash Magazine. Their much-anticipated debut EP ‘Bottled Chaos’ dropped in June 2023 via Roadkill Records and they celebrated its arrival with their biggest headline yet at the 300-capacity Moth Club.

The Roebucks
After a couple of years of performing, The Roebucks have developed a unique sound that combines rock with Americana and folk-like harmonies. With a chugging rhythm section featuring Henry Brown on bass and Sophie Maloney on drums, and intertwining Duane Allman-esque riffs from guitarists Tom Cotter and Lola Gordon, the result harks back to 1970s Southern rock with a modern British twist. The Roebucks, who are Brighton-based, are bringing the rattling American sound to the South Coast, as you can hear on their latest singles ‘Low’ and ‘Heavy Eyes’. Live, the four-piece have shared stages with Sea Power and Langkamer, as well as Brighton favorites such as Milo Korbenski, Maximilian, Tinman, and Duskhouse, and they’re lined up to play at this year’s Black Deer Festival.
