About this Event
Many adults face obstacles resulting from misunderstood or undiagnosed learning disabilities which impact their daily lives, potentially impacting their career, personal lives, and educational goals. Enoch Pratt Free Library invites you to engage with us in this important informational discussion led by Winifred Winston from Dyslexia Advocation and the Black and Dyslexic podcast, along with Pratt’s Accessibility Coordinator Erin Kelly.
This discussion will explore the signs, symptoms, and challenges of learning disabilities that often go unnoticed or misinterpreted in adults. The goal of this discussion is to equip participants with the knowledge and tools to identify potential learning disabilities and to provide attendees with information about community resources and support available.
To request accommodations, please contact Programs and Outreach at (410) 396-5494 or [email protected] by Wednesday, February 13th.
