Join Valerie Mayen for Hi, Fashion, a FREE two-day event filled with fun opportunities to make your wardrobe more sustainable. What you’ll find at our “Hi, Fashion” weekend:
-MASSIVE clothing swap just in time for spring cleaning and updating your summer wardrobe!
- All items must be laundered before bringing to swap.
- Items will be distributed among different tables in piles according to item (pants, tops, dresses, skirts,etc)
- Clothing swap will be held in the ramp level space - a large 5,000 sq ft space with plenty of room for distancing as needed.
-FREE alterations on all those pieces you’ve been meaning to wear but needs tweaking
-DIY lessons from the pros on how to mend your own clothes and other basic mending skills.
-With special guests offering expert invaluable services from secondhand shopping wisdom, inking upcycled t-shirts onsite, giving FREE sweets and savory bites and coffee, and sketching fashion illustration portraits of attendees.
-AND... a raffle on Sunday for some of your favorite Yellowcake Shop & other local treats for 3 lucky attendees!
**Masks are encouraged even for those that are vaccinated.
