About this Event
Event Guidelines (for Covid): By registering for this event, participants agree to abide by the guidelines, which include:
- Practice social distancing
- Carry a personal hygiene kit (mask and hand sanitizer) and have it available during the event
- Refrain from sharing transportation, gear, food or close spaces with others outside of your household
- Practice self-awareness and do not attend if you have had any flu-like symptoms, if you have been exposed to or have tested positive for Covid in the last 14 days.
- Post-event; anyone who develops flu-like symptoms within 14 days after joining an event should contact the ambassador at [email protected]
TRAILHEAD INFORMATION:
This is an intermediate hike because it is about 3-5 miles on a dirt/paved road trail that climbs up and down about 1500 ft. We go about a 1 mile an hour pace and go in the road about 2.5 miles in and walk back out.
TRAILHEAD DIRECTIONS
Parking is off Haskell Vista Rd, which is off Newhall right before Hart Park.
WHAT TO BRING:

- Pack your full supply of water for the day
- Pack snacks & a lunch
- As it is the cooler season, please wear warmer clothing
- Bring extra warm clothing (jacket in case it gets chilly)
- Shoes with good traction
- A light backpack to carry all your essentials
- Sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses
- Headlamp
- Positive Attitude!
CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you are registering for one of our group events, we ask that you are 100% committed to attending when you register. If you reserve a spot and are unable to attend, please cancel as soon as possible on Eventbrite. We ask that you try to cancel a minimum of 3 days prior to the day of the event as this allows other people who would like to attend the ability to plan to join us.
