RUN FOR A GREAT CAUSE: SUPPORT LITTLE JEM WITH HEYFIELD LIONS CLUB
The Heyfield Lions Club is proud to present the Little Jem Fundraiser, a community-driven running and walking event dedicated to raising funds for Little Jem, a foundation that supports families in Gippsland who experience sudden loss of a baby or child, whether during pregnancy, as a newborn or as a young child. This event is an opportunity for the local community to come together, get active, and support a truly inspiring cause. Each leg of the race is in tribute to the boys who lost their lives in the tragic plane accident in November 2024, please wear a splash of purple to honour Dusty’s favourite colour.
Participants can choose from three distances:
🏃 Lukes Long Haul 21.3km Run
🏃 Bennys Blitz 13km Run
🚶‍♂️ Dustys Dash 5km Run/Walk
Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to contribute, this event is open to all ages and fitness levels!
Why We’re Running
Little Jem’s journey has touched the hearts of many in our community. Funds raised from this event will go directly toward the foundation, helping to ease the challenges faced by Gippsland Families.

📍 Start & Finish Location:
21.3km Macalister River Park check in prior to 7.30am for an 8am Start
13km Tinamba Hotel check in prior to 8.10am for an 8.40am start
5km Walk Browns Feed and Fertiliser 8.30am for 9am Start
5km Run Browns Feed and Fertiliser 8.30am for 9.30am start
🕘 Start Time: as mentioned above and may be subject to change
💲 Entry Fee:
21.3km and 13km Run $65.00
5km run/walk $45.00
Participants will receive a Cap, refreshments, and the chance to be part of an incredible community event. Entry also assists in covering road closure costs.
