HeyDreamer is an Atlanta-based rock band blending soulful vocals, gritty grooves, and high-energy performances into one unforgettable sound. Fronted by singer-songwriter Melody Kiser, the band delivers sharp lyricism and dynamic stage presence with the precision of seasoned pros and the fire of true artists. Their music fuses alternative rock with hints of soul, funk, and pop—anchored by tight harmonies and driving rhythms that keep audiences moving.
Formed by a group of fiercely dedicated musicians, HeyDreamer brings together the talents of Kiser on lead vocals and guitar, Dustin Williams on bass, David Williams on drums, and Donnie Gee on keys. Kiser’s voice is as versatile as it is commanding—but it’s her fierce, expressive guitar work that truly sets her apart. With soaring solos and melodic phrasing, she brings a rare combination of technical skill and raw emotion to the role of lead guitarist, anchoring the band’s sound with both power and nuance.
The band released their debut EP If You’re Out There in 2020, followed by their 2022 album Dances in Wonderland. Now, HeyDreamer is gearing up for their most ambitious release yet: Celebrated Destruction of Paradise, a bold, 13-chapter concept album set for 2026. The project has already sparked major momentum, fueled by a successful Kickstarter campaign that rallied their fan community, raised over $30,000, and helped bring the album’s recordings, visuals, and rollout to life. It’s a defining new era for the band: bigger sound, bigger vision, and the most fully realized HeyDreamer world to date.
HeyDreamer has been featured on 99X and at 99X’s Big Day Out and was selected to play aboard the Melissa Etheridge Cruise, sharing the bill with legendary songwriters and rising stars. They’ve appeared on PBS’s Peach Jam and are the creative force behind the Newnan Porchfest, a community-powered music festival that drew over 10,000 attendees in its inaugural year. The band is currently signed to a production deal with Real People Music and Real 2 Reel Studios, the production company and iconic Georgia recording studio owned by CMA-Artist Brian Collins and Will Turpin of Collective Soul.
