Early last Monday morning, during the severe thunderstorms that struck the area, a tree fell on the apartment of our bassist, Paul Saunders, and took his life. His wife, Shaleen, who was with him, survived. Paul was a great human being and a fine musician; his loss has affected many. The show on August 3rd will be a fundraiser to help Shaleen through this next phase of life. The band's fee will be donated to support her, as will the night's buffet proceeds and other donations.
