Hey Day began in 1947 as a way to welcome World War II veterans back to campus. Auburn students wore nametags and greeted one another with a simple “hey,” creating a spirit of connection and community. Today, it remains one of Auburn’s most beloved traditions and now it’s coming to Birmingham.
