About this Event
Come and get yourselves all set for a summer of marvellous making at our Summer Reading Challenge 2024 launch event, organised with the generous support of Green Bee Crafts of Hexham - a hive of creativity supporting local and independent makers.
- Sign up for this years Summer Reading Challenge - find out all about the Marvellous Makers and how to take part.
- Bring along craft materials you no longer need to our swap shop and leave with all the the bits to try a new hobby.
- Join in with our Knit & Natterers and learn how to knit or crochet - materials supplied
- Have a go at some taster craft activities - we've got lots for you to try
- Browse this years Summer Reading Challenge book titles and borrow your first summer reads
- Find out all about Roarsome Readers, our Summer Reading Challenge club and how you can join in throughout the summer holidays.
- Pick up a copy of your Hexham Library Summer Activity Guide and start planning your summer of marvellous making.
The library will be open 9.30am-5pm and events will take place throughout the day - exact timings to be confirmed nearer the time, so do check back for more information.
