This October, the Wood County Women's Rights Alliance is heading downtown for Hexes & Hooters at the historic Blennerhassett Hotel! This Halloween fundraiser will benefit the Pink Mammogram Fund here in Parkersburg, WV! Because even witches need mammograms!
Drinks! Costumes! Dancing! Mammogram Education & Fundraising, oh my!
Join us in your favorite costume (whether your hooters still look fab in that college number or you're trading it in for some new tassels!) and sink your fangs into delicious hors d'oeuvres, sip on electrifying cocktails, and enjoy sweets that aren't your kids' candy bucket leftovers!
We couldn't throw a Halloween dance party without DJ Thunda Cat! Get ready to shake those tassels on the dance floor!
We wouldn't be the WCWRA without some education! Around the room you'll find how to self- exam information, mammogram facts & history, information on signs and symptoms for early detection, learning risk factors, and screening guidelines.
Pink Mammogram Fund
The WCWRA is raising money for the Pink Mammogram Fund here in Parkersburg, West Virginia. This program, funded by the Camden Clark Foundation, provides free screening mammograms, diagnostics, and biopsies for uninsured and underinsured community members here in the MOV.
***25% of proceeds from Hexes & Hooters will be donated to the Camden Clark Foundation's Pink Mammogram Fund!
