Hetty returns with more information on the lives of Ned and Sylvia growing up with their “witch” mother (a wizard of money). Meet Ned the Colonel, a friendly extrovert who learned his mother’s financial skills, and Sylvia, a shy introvert whose interests included being proficient at home, rather than in the public sphere.All Hetty programs are led by Dr. Irene Duprey-Gutierrez, who has been a Park Volunteer for 27 years. All programs are scheduled for Saturdays at 1:00 pm in the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park at 33 William Street. Admission and programs are always free at the park.
