Hertsmere Works, in conjunction with Hertsmere Borough Council, would like to invite you to join us for our November networking event, on Wednesday 4th December , at Sky Studios Elstree, Rowley Lane, Borehamwood, WD6 1FX, from 8am to 10am, for a chance to meet like minded businesses and build valuable working relationships.
Sophie Owen Street will be updating us on Sky Studios, the work they are doing there, their involvement in the local community and the importance of sustainability on site.
We are delighted to welcome David Hawes from Net Zero International as our speaker, talking on 'How Net Zero will shape growth and makes good business sense'
A Net Zero plan is an increasingly important part of business strategy and will become a requirement over the next few years.
This session will go through the definition of Net Zero, how to measure the carbon emissions of your business and the current legislation and regulatory position.
It will also cover how Net Zero helps you with recruitment, retention, investment, attracting customers and winning contracts.
David Hawes is Co-Founder at Net Zero International (NZI), a Net Zero solutions business partnering companies with carbon accounting, reporting, training, strategy, policy and advice.
They partner with businesses large and small across all industries in all aspects of Net Zero. David is also a founding member of #hertsgogreenandgrow, as well as a founding member of the Carbon Accounting Alliance.
The cost is £12.50+VAT, including breakfast. The first 10 businesses to book will also be allocated a 60-second slot to speak to the group. Places are very limited, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
