Join us for a relaxed 10 km countryside walk exploring riverside paths, historic villages and gentle Hertfordshire countryside. Starting and finishing in Ickleford, this circular route follows peaceful stretches of the River Hiz, passes through the village of Lower Green, and includes sections of the ancient Icknield Way, with open views and wide skies.A friendly, confidence-building walk at a relaxed pace, ideal for those looking for an easy–moderate outing with plenty of scenery. We’ll finish with the option of a drink at a nearby pub for anyone who’d like to stay and chat.
