About this Event
This is an invitation for Grade V+ level orchestral young musicians from across the region to take part in a FREE 3 day orchestral course and concert!
The next HEROS Orchestra course:
Monday April 7th - Wednesday April 9th
The Albemarle Music Centre, Hull, HU2 8LN.
CONCERT: Wednesday 9th April, 19:00 - Hull Minster
Conductor: Patrick Bailey
Sectional tutors will include players from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra

The HEROS Orchestra was set up to give holiday opportunities for young people to participate in orchestral music projects and activities.
The Orchestra serves the region covered by the Humber Music Hub:
East Riding of Yorkshire, Hull, North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire.
The Orchestra is also run in partnership with our regional Centre for Advanced Training: Yorkshire Young Musicians
An exciting new partnership with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for 2025 will see the orchestra being coached by players from the RPO as well as the opportunity for the orchestra to attend the RPO concert in Hull City Hall on Tuesday April 8th.

Who can join?
Orchestral players in full time education from our region:
Hull, East Riding, North Lincs, North-East Lincs
This includes players up to the age of 21 at college or university.
Also open to all musicians studying with Yorkshire Young Musicians
Grade V or above
