About this Event
The Heroes On the Water North Oregon Coast chapter's 3rd event of 2025 will be on Saturday May 31st. If you're active duty or retired military or First Responder and would like to join us for a day of kayak fishing the event will be held at Lost Lake Clatsop County (this is Lost Lake in the coast range not at Mt Hood). We will begin at 09:00 and conclude at 15:00 with a light lunch being provided by HOW-NOC. There will be at least 8 kayaks available for participants. This will be a fun day for participants and volunteers alike.
We look forward to continuing to serve those who have joined us in the past and to introducing new people to the activity that we love. Participants do not need to have previous experience on kayaks or fishing and will only need to bring a valid Oregon fishing license with them as well as dress for the weather (no cotton clothing. Man-made fabrics work best as they don't hold water and will dry quicker if you get wet). We will provide all the necessary equipment training, guidance and an experienced guide to help you enjoy the day.

Remember to fill out your waivers online prior to the event as there might not be reception to do it there.
