Free Guided Kayak Fishing Event Helping Veterans, First Responders, & Their Families Relax And Heal Through Kayak Fishing And The Outdoors.

This event will be at a private pond, Newland Park in Salisbury, MD. This event is open to Military (active & Reserve) Veterans, First Responders and their Families. This location is fantastic and always big hit. Great fishing. We hope to see you there and help the Veterans and 1st responders get some fish in the boat!

Volunteers/Guides should have their kayaks organized by the water and ready by 7:00 AM.

Veterans /First Responder Participants and Family Members should arrive at 7:30 AM. Event leads: Chris Vassallo for the Maryland Chapter

Lunch will Be Provided – We Usually Break for Lunch around 11:30 AM

Weather Considerations: Events are rain or shine, dress appropriately for weather. We recommend you bring rain gear in case it rains. You will be notified if the event is cancelled for any reason.

You may get wet during the outings. Its always a good idea to pack extra dry clothes for the way home.
