The entire community is invited for a fun holiday party with local police officers, firefighters, and public works staff for the Heroes’ Holiday celebration from 4-8pm Friday, December 20th at the Rotary River Center. Some activities, including the Santa visit and refreshments, will be in the Beloit College Powerhouse, 850 Pleasant St.
Recommended parking options include:
• Jones Pavilion Parking in Riverside Park (entrance is just east of the Portland Avenue bridge)
• Beloit College Powerhouse
• Beloit College parking lot off of Woodward Avenue (use the pedestrian bridge to access the Powerhouse)
• Visit Beloit Parking Lot, 656 Pleasant St.
• Heritage View Parking Lot, 627 Pleasant St.
The event will feature horse-drawn carriage rides, candlelight hikes, visits with Santa, refreshments and more winter fun.
This event is presented the Beloit Police, Beloit Fire, Beloit Department of Public Works, and Beloit Parks & Recreation, as well as Beloit Fresh Start, Community Action, Inc., other local law enforcement, first responders and nonprofit organizations.
The organizations are putting on the event to create meaningful connections with the kids in our neighborhoods and their families.
