About this Event
Bord Ertach Kernow’s Heritage Workforce Working Group would like to invite your organisation to attend a half day workshop at Kresen Kernow in Redruth focused on how we can create a more resilience heritage sector through considering future workforce demands and planning.
How are we promoting the breadth of careers in the heritage, historic environment and cultural sectors to attract the next generation, people considering a change in career or volunteering?
What career pathways are open to people in Cornwall to enter and progress within our sectors at any point within their working age?
Where are the skills gaps now and likely in the future that are critical to our custodianship of Cornwall’s cultural heritage?
This workshop will consider the ‘Careers in Heritage’ report commissioned by the Heritage Workforce Working Group from Cornwall Education Business Partnership, which took into account the results of the survey that was also sent out to the sector earlier in the year, and wider benefits of us working collaboratively.
The first step towards building collaboration is this workshop, to be facilitated by Lisa Neville, Manager of Cornwall Education Business Partnership.
