An opportunity to see inside this Grade 2 Listed chapel. The church began as a Congregational chapel in 1722, reflecting the Nonconformist movement of the time. In the 18th century, it also housed a Dissenting Academy, where notable figures including Joseph Priestley (the scientist who discovered oxygen) studied. The Daventry United Reform Church is opening it's doors in celebration of Heritage Open Days. Heritage Open Days in England will take place in September 2025.
