Studland Bay is known to many as a leisure destination boasting four miles of beach, but its historical significance is often overlooked.Discover how Britain prepared to defend it's coastline and the later shift to preparing for invasion, with a full scale rehearsal for the D-day landings called Exercise Smash. Come and talk to our knowledgeable volunteers and check out the exhibits and ordnance on display.
Take a self guided walk around some of our remaining WW2 remnants. Family friendly event with kids activities including a mini obstacle course, make a clay tile and code cracking.
The event will be based primarily on the sandy area between Knoll Beach Café and Studland Water Sports.
