While the town hall building is closed, we’re holding pop-up events to celebrate Heritage Open Days this year.Starting from the 200-year-old town hall building at the very centre of the town, our volunteer guide will walk and talk you around the central town area, recreating the buildings, businesses and characters of the 19th century.
The tour will last around an hour; it will be at an easy walking pace on pavements and will take place in all weathers (please dress appropriately).
