EatWell Exchange invites you to Heritage on a Plate: Black Dietitian Panel, a dynamic and engaging conversation highlighting the role of Black dietitians and the cultural foods of the African Diaspora. This free community event will feature an insightful panel discussion led by Jasmine Westbrooks-Figaro, MS, RDN, LDN, CDCES, Chasadie Glover, MS, RDN, Amber Porter, MS, RDN, LDN, and Demetria Cox-Thomas, MS, RDN, LDN (Chef).
Attendees will enjoy:
- A panel discussion on the intersection of culture, heritage, and health in the African American community.
- A live cooking demonstration showcasing traditional foods with a healthy twist.
- A farm tour highlighting fresh, local food access.
- A guided farm tour at 3 Sisters Food Co-op Grocery Store and Farm, highlighting fresh, local food access.
