Robert Heacock Photo The annual Heritage Days will be held at the
Sacajawea Historical State Park, 2503 Sacajawea Park Road, Pasco, Washington.
This is an event where you can walk through history at the site where the Lewis and Clark Expedition camped. There will be a Lewis and Clark living history encampment presented by the Pacific Northwest Living Historians, Mountain Man camps, Native
American culture displays, vintage steam engines, and more.
The event goes from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Pacific Time) on Thursday and Friday, and 10
a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
On Thursday and Friday, the focus is on visits by school groups, but the park will be
open to the public.
A Discover Pass ($10 for a day or $30 for the year) is required for day-use parking on
Thursday and Friday. Saturday is National Public Lands Day, so it is free parking at
Sacajawea Park.
The Sacajawea Interpretive Center will be open on all days of the event. Displays in
the center tell the remarkable story of Sacajawea and the Lewis and Clark Expedition.
