Held annually, the Monroeville Historical Society's Heritage Day Festival is your opportunity to step back in time; to experience the everyday life our ancestors lived during the years when Monroeville first began to form as a community. Members of the Historical Society will be onsite, dressed in period costumes, to guide you through the daily chores of making bread, churning butter, and keeping the fires burning Kids can ride a pony and interact with farm animals or craft a scarecrow, and/or a pumpkin to take home. There are interactive demonstrations throughout the day along with guided (or self-guided) tours of the McGinley Stone House, the McCully Log Home, and the grounds.
