The Grateful Dawg tribute, with Billy Gilmore and Mickey Abraham honors the duo recordings of Jerry Garcia and David Grisman. Billy Gilmore started playing music with the five-string banjo when he was seven years old, moving on to learn the guitar, mandolin, Dobro, fiddle, bass, and keyboards, and is known to do a good bit of percussion, too. He is able to play almost anything in almost any style, from bluegrass to jazz and swing and all points in between. Mickey Abraham is a mandolin and guitar player and teacher who performs with many acoustic musicians throughout the state of Florida. Whether teaching festival workshops, performing at weddings, or performing with his traveling student group, Mickey’s infectious personality and passion for the music is always welcomed.
