Our fantastic two hour baby and child first aid class is for parents, carers and grandparents.This session is being held at the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity Hub which is UPSTAIRS* on 7 Commercial Street, Hereford, HR1 2DE in the town centre.
This class covers assessing unwell/injured infants and children up to 18, CPR, recovery position, choking, bleeding, broken bones, head bumps, burns, meningitis/sepsis awareness and febrile convulsions and plenty more. The session includes a booklet to take away and hands on practice with manikins to enhance your skills.
Our organisation partners include The Meningitis Research foundation, Sepsis Trust, Children's Burns Trust and sessions are delivered by qualified first aid trainers (and parents!) so you can be sure of the most up to date trusted information.
Our session is relaxed and you are very welcome to bring your baby under 1 with you. *No lift available at this venue, we are happy to assist carrying any items safely upstairs as needed.
This course is also CPD accredited and delivered by registered first aid trainers who are also helath professionals (and parents who understand!)
