Celebrating collective storytelling and uplifting local artists, Milwaukee Chamber Theatre's Here2Play event series connects Milwaukeeans more closely to one another and to their community. Here2Play explores an upcoming MCT production in partnership with local organizations throughout the city.
Join us on Wednesday, January 8 from 6-8pm at the Woman's Club of Wisconsin to kick off the next production of our 50th anniversary season: Henrik Ibsen's classic masterpiece A DOLL'S HOUSE, in a breathtaking new version from acclaimed American playwright Amy Herzog, directed by Leda Hoffmann, and featuring Libby Amato, Matthew Bodren, Josh Krause, Anand Nagraj, Jennifer Vosters, and Kat Wodke.
Attendees will enjoy light appetizers and performances by local visual, performing, and/or musical artists, capped off with hear-it-first readings from the upcoming MCT production. Here2Play sets the stage for meaningful conversations and deep impact by highlighting the work of each production's community partner organizations through lively panel discussions with local leaders that contextualize each play's themes in Milwaukee.
